Inspirational jazz singer Tina Jenkins Crawley uplifts with soulful new project
Tina Jenkins Crawley's musical feelings are expressed through the medium of Jazz. She is gifted with a strong voice and unforgettable stage charisma; this new comer is attracting a notable following, both in her hometown of Chicago and beyond.
Crawley's vocals and the lyrics give the deep message of inspiration. She is proving her staying power and musical professionalism in her debut album The Longest Journey. Filled with songs of hope, the brand new CD has already catapulted the artist to #1 on the UK Soul Charts, where it remained for 4 weeks.
This long awaited debut album has already been called the freshest take on Inspirational music in years. This uplifting, innovative sound is the perfect marriage of Jazz, Neo-Soul, and Contemporary Christian & Gospel music.
This album consist the combination of feel in the lyrics with a good sounds of soul and Jazz. The up-tempo grooves of It Comes from You and the smooth, soft vibe of Thank You Lord showcase Tina and how she effortlessly wraps her beautiful soprano vocals around amazing songs. Suddenly features the Melody in this album. And Everyday is arranged in an acoustic, mellow and worshipful cut.
She is a vocalist, lyricist, musical director, worship leader and international performer. In her role as worship leader she is proud to work with gifted artist like Mavis Staples, Paul Rodgers of Bad Company, Anthony David and Violinist, Roddy Chong.
She has sung with R. Kelly and Celine Dion in commercials music videos. For several years, she has also had the pleasure of being vocal director for both the Global Leadership Summit and International Global Leadership Summit for Willow Creek Association. Most recently, she was included as a featured vocalist for the World Discipleship Summit where she led worship for nearly 18,000.
